The Senate is expected to vote either tonight or tomorrow on the GOP tax bill. Once this happens, we need to immediately focus back on House Republicans urging them to vote NO on the proposed bill and request a bill that protects Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistance.

If your organization is located in one of the Republican House districts, a group of statewide organizations representing mental health and substance use disorder organizations, including the NYS Council, has compiled mental health and substance use disorder impact data specific to the representative’s district.

Below is a list of the Republican House members with 2 template letters:

1. Mail or email – please download the letter template and fill in your organization’s data as noted. If you do not have the data, please remove those lines and mail the letter without agency specific data. If you have the Representative’s email address, please email. If not, please use first class mail.
